This is a simplified representative reproduction of a BSA sight adjusting tool produced during WWI.
Works the same way as the original buy removing the nose cap and placing over the forsight. Also works on MkIII SMLE sporters fitted with original fore sights.  Some fitting may be required to account for small variations between rifle manufacturers and 50 years of manufacture.
BANZ Sight Adjusting tools are now coated with a more durable military type "parkerised" finish. We have sold many of these over the last three years and after a period of perfecting the "parkerised" coatings they are now back on the market.

This is a new design for the No5 Jungle carbine. A foresight Adjusting Tool was  produced for this rifle but untill now we have never seen one. We have designed this tool to fit over the forsight above the barrel and clamped by two cap screws. This design has proved highly successful and should help overcome that "Wandering Zero" to some degree.    Some fitting may be required to account for small variations between rifle manufacturers and 50 years of manufacture.

This is a new reproduction of the very rare adjusting tool  No 4 for the No5 Jungle carbine.  We have copied this tool from an original that we have acquired. Until this sample came into our possession we had never seen one. Our new tool is based on the original. It has been manufactured slightly differently for ease of manufacture and so that it may not be confused with the original. A must for any No5 collector. Find an original! you could pay over GB£350.00

We offer two variations.
For No4 Mk1 rifles, original variation with no fore sight screw hole. Must take the adjusting tool off to tighten screw or for no4 rifles fitted with the Mk2 foresight block (No screw)
For No4 Mk2 rifles, with fore sight screw hole. Developed by the RAF after WWII to ensure the fore sight blade didn't shift after adjustment. This tool has a hole bored in the front bar to enable a fore sight screwdriver to tighten the screw after adjustment. We supply a special screw driver with each of these tools.
